"Stubenhocker" is a German word for someone who likes
to sit at home reading instead of going out to meet other people.

The work "Stubenhocker" is a video-installation consisting
of several monitors, which are hidden somewhere in the exhibition space. Each of them shows only one hole or entry to a dwelling of small animals like mice or squirrels.

The viewer is forced to find the "hole" himself and has to
fight with his patience- to wait until the inhabitant shows up and disappears very fast again.
